1. What services does Hong Lan provide?
At Hong Lan Services, we provide money transfer to Vietnam, Philippines, and soon China.
In addition, Hong Lan also provides:
● Retail cargo services to Vietnam.
● Prepaid telephone calling cards.
2. How do I send money?
To send money you can visit any of Hong Lan’s branches or through Hong Lan’s agent networks throughout the United States. When sending $3,000 or more, a teller will ask you to provide an identification cards. Acceptable ID cards are driver license, ID card, Social Security, alien card, passport or any government issued ID card. For sending $8,000 and over, you will also be asked for your occupation and source of income in addition to ID cards request.
3. What currency does the recipient receive?
For Vietnam, payment is 99% in USD. However, we can also payout in local currency at the current exchange rate as well. For other countries, payment can be made in either local currency or USD based on customer’s request.
4. How does my relative receive the money I sent?
In Vietnam, payment is delivered to your door or the recipient can pick up at a payment at a bank or at any of the authorized payment network. For other countries, payment can be made by direct deposit to the recipient’s bank account, or delivery to door if sender desires.
5. How do I know if the recipient has received money?
Each transaction will have a confirmation receipt which will recorded recipient’s ID, signature and date and time when the payment is made. Most transactions are delivered within 24 hours; Customer will be able to pick up confirmation receipts the next day at any of Hong Lan network locations.
6. How long does it take to deliver the money to my relatives?
Depend on the address of each transaction, 90% of the transactions’ payment are done within 6-24 hours. In the provinces and remote village, payment sometimes can take up to 1-3 days.
7. How do I file a complaint?
Hong Lan provides a toll free telephone number which a customer can call and file a complaint with Hong Lan’s management. Upon receiving the complaint, Hong Lan management will review and investigation the nature of the complaint and take immediate action. Hong Lan treats each complaint seriously and the company is committed to provide the best customer service.
